The Snowman of Theodore MacTaurus Hiking Trail They always describe the entity as humanoid wearing what resembles to be standard mountaineering wear and boots, covered in snow. This urban legend is also described to have no facial features. Some say that the Snowman is the ghost of a hiker that went missing. Others think that there is more to it. From a taboo Native American spirit to aliens, there are many stories and depictions of the Snowman; the most common one being: "A couple decided to stay for a few months in a cabin near the end of the trail. In the first few days they heard noises, but they chalked it up to a squirrel in their walls. As days passed the noises continue along with muffled noises of laughter or pain. The husband went out to investigate. There was a figure that camouflaged within the snow, moving one of it's handless limbs on the side of the outside wall and somehow making noises without a mouth. It stopped as it knew it had eyes on it. It slowly turned it's head. The husband quickly ran back inside and locked the door. The creature jiggled on the doorknob. It then started pounding on the door, aggresively. The muffled noises now became screams, thunderous roars filled the eardrums of the couple. They were afraid that whatever was outside was going break in. The husband yelled, ''WE'RE CALLING THE COPS!'' and it all seemed to have stopped. A few what seemed to be seconds to the couple, the creature broke the window and climbed in. Later the police did show up due to the couple's family reporting them missing. What they found was the structures made out of snow. These structures looked like the missing couple, but none of their bodies were found. Instead were footprints in the snow surrounding the cabin, scratch marks engraved on the outer wall, and a broken window."
